Evmenov has commanded the Russian fleet since May 2019. According to the publication, he will be replaced by the commander of the Northern Fleet, Admiral Alexander Moiseev.
The personnel decision has reportedly already been proven to the personnel of the criminal fleet. But Evmenov still remains the listed commander-in-chief on the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Yevmenov’s resignation took place against the backdrop of the interception of Ukraine’s initiative in the Black Sea. On the night of March 5, the GUR attacked the patrol ship Sergei Kotov.
So far, the number of Russian ships in the ports of annexed Crimea has been reduced to a minimum – only those that have no place at their bases in Novorossiysk, Sochi and Tuapse remain, but they do not go to sea.
