A student at Moscow State University was sentenced to ten days of arrest for calling his Wi-Fi network with the pro-Ukrainian slogan “Slava Ukraine!” (“Glory to Ukraine!”), reports UP.

The Moscow district court said he “committed an administrative offense and publicly displayed the equipment of extremist organizations.”

According to the documents, local police noted the name of the young man’s network, then took the student into custody and searched his room. A personal computer, laptop and Wi-Fi router were confiscated.

Court documents state that the student used his Wi-Fi network “for the purpose of promoting the slogan “Glory to Ukraine” to an unlimited number of users within the framework of Wi-Fi signal access of the ideology of the Organization of Ukrainian nationalists.”

Let’s remember that in Russia it is forbidden to show in public the symbols and paraphernalia of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, as well as the use of the slogan “Glory to Ukraine” and the answer to it – “Glory to the Heroes”.

In addition, the OUN was added to the “Nazi” list. In addition, the list also includes the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the Ukrainian People’s Revolutionary Army and the Ukrainian People’s Self-Defense.
