In the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia, fires broke out after an attack by unknown drones. This was reported by local Russian authorities on Sunday, March 10.
So, in Kursk, a drone attacked an oil depot.
“Air defense is operating in Kursk. A Ukrainian drone fell and burned on the territory of an oil depot. Fire brigades and emergency services are working on the scene,” said the governor of the region, Roman Starovoyt.
Meanwhile, the Russian Telegram channel SHOT claimed that the drone damaged a 3,000-ton container, which was allegedly empty at the time of the attack.
In this regard, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also reported a drone attack.
“The outskirts of the city of Stroitel, Yakovlevsky urban district, were attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the help of two aircraft-type UAVs. After their fall and subsequent explosion, no one was injured; a truck was burned. This operational was killed of services,” the official said.
We remind you that on Sunday night the Russians carried out a massive attack using Shahed-type kamikaze drones. Air defense units operated in 11 regions and shot down 35 UAVs out of 39 launched.
