Kristina Pyskova from the Czech Republic was recognized as the most beautiful woman in the world this year. A total of 111 girls from around the world took part in the competition.
The Miss World 2024 competition ended in Mumbai, India on Saturday, March 9. The victory was won by the representative of the Czech Republic, Kristina Pyshkova. He beat 111 of his rivals from around the world, CNN reports.
It was noted that in the qualifying competition beauty, talent and oratory were evaluated.
Once the field was narrowed down to the top eight, they engaged in a classic round of questions and answers, covering topics discussed at the last G20 summit.
Asked to shed light on an issue that directly affects women’s health care, Pyshkova, a 23-year-old law student and model, spoke about overcoming the stigma and shame associated with menstruation, noting that “being a woman is a gift and menstruation should not be a taboo subject.
After the final round, four contestants remained who had to “present their cause” (or charity platform) to a trio of business tycoons from Shark Tank India. Each of the four finalists represents a different region of the world: Africa, the Americas and the Caribbean, Asia and Oceania and Europe.
Pyshkova defeated three finalists – Yasmina Zeitoun from Lebanon, Ache Abrahams from Trinidad and Tobago and Lesego Chombo from Botswana. These women, along with Jessica Gagen from England, are considered the “continental winners” of the competition.
We remind you that Ukraine entered the top 10 charity projects of the Miss World 2024 competition. The 19-year-old representative of our country, Sofia Shamia, presented a video with children affected by the Russian invasion.
It was previously reported that Russia was not allowed to participate in the Miss World beauty contest.
