The Estonian Foreign Minister called on other Western countries to make the same commitment, which would allow Ukraine to count on 120 billion euros of military support every year.

Estonia announced its intention to sign a cooperation agreement with Ukraine within the framework of the G7 leaders’ declaration adopted at the Vilnius NATO summit. Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced this at a press conference on Friday, March 8, writes European Pravda.

“We are signing a bilateral agreement between Estonia and Ukraine for long-term commitments,” Tsahkna said.

The minister added that Estonia has invested 1.4% of GDP in military support for Ukraine, and will continue to do so, in particular, next week it plans to approve a new military aid package.

“When we sign a bilateral agreement between Estonia and Ukraine, we commit and undertake to allocate 0.25% of GDP per year to military support,” said the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry.

The minister called on other Western countries to make the same pledge, which would allow Ukraine to count on 120 billion euros of military support a year – “enough to push the Russians” out of Ukraine.

We remind you that Estonia called on Europe to “act immediately” to help Ukraine. Ukraine will receive military aid worth 0.25% of Estonia’s GDP over the next four years.
