The corresponding decree No. 150/2024 was published today, March 8, on the website of the Office of the President.
To assign the name of Hetman Ivan Vygovsky to the “Ada” class corvette of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in the future to call this corvette the corvette “Hetman Ivan Vygovsky,” is indicated in the text of the decree.

In August 2022, Zelensky assigned the name “Hetman Ivan Mazepa” to the first Ada-class corvette of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is being built in Ukraine by Turkey.
