At 1.35 am, the domain name registrar Network Solutions suddenly and without any warning blocked the Ukr.net domain. As a result, Internet users do not have access to the Ukr.net news feed and email. The Ukrainian portal reported this on Telegram.
The problem could not be resolved through the registrar’s support service. We hope that we will be able to obtain more information and find out the reasons and circumstances of the blocking when the office of the American registrar company begins working hours, the message says.
Representatives of Ukr.net asked for help from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova.
The portal administration stated that it is doing everything possible to recover. She expressed confidence that soon the @Ukr.net mail and the news feed on the Ukr.net portal will work again.
As of 12:45, the portal’s news feed and mail are still unavailable to users.
Let us remind you that on March 5 there was a large-scale failure in the work of social networks Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. Users had problems logging into accounts and updating pages. There were also complaints about YouTube and TikTok being out of order.
