On Thursday, March 7, 2,300 trucks are in line at the Ukrainian border. There is a difficult traffic situation at three of the six blocked checkpoints – Krakovets, Yagodin and Shegini. Press Secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine Andrey Demchenko stated this during the telethon.
This is cumulative in all six directions where Polish farmers continue to block or complicate traffic for trucks. Most of all, it’s opposite the Krakovets and Yagodin checkpoints,” he noted.
In this direction, according to Demchenko, about 50 trucks crossed during the day. But at Shegini the situation is quite complicated; the Poles allow 20 trucks through this point per day. And only three trucks proceeded towards Poland, which were accepted by the adjacent side.
Let us remind you that on March 5, the State Border Service said that protesters would allow 12 cars through the Shegini state of emergency towards Ukraine every 12 hours.
