European Council President Charles Michel called Russia’s attack on Odessa on March 6 “another sign of cowardly tactics” by the Kremlin.
“The attack in Odessa during the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is another sign of Russia’s cowardly tactics in its aggressive war against Ukraine. It is shameful and far below the Kremlin script . The EU will give full support to Ukraine and its brave people”, – stated Michelle.
We remind you that the Russians attacked Odessa with a missile while the Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis was visiting the city, scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
According to Greek media, the attack hit Zelensky’s motorcade while he was with the Greek delegation. The explosion occurred shortly before the leaders’ meeting, 150 meters from the location of the delegation from Greece. None of the delegations were injured.
Zelensky also commented on the Russian missile attack on Odessa.
