The businessman promised that he would not give money to any US presidential election candidate for an election campaign.
The American billionaire, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk will not give campaign funds to any candidate in the US presidential election. This is what he says wrote on X’s own social network on Wednesday, March 6.
Commenting on his meeting with likely Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, Musk wrote: “To be very clear, I have not donated money to any of the US presidential candidates.”
The businessman’s comments do not exclude donations to political committees (organizations with special status in the United States that raise funds for political campaigns) or other political purposes.
It was previously reported that Trump is desperately seeking money to support his presidential campaign. On February 3, he met with Musk and several other Republican donors in Florida.
Recall that Biden and Trump won many states on Super Tuesday – the day of major party elections in 15 states and one US territory.
