The enemy sent attack drones to the city, and three arrivals took place in different parts of Sumy. There are casualties as a result of the explosions. The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
All emergency services are on site. The victims are provided with the necessary medical care. The consequences of the air strikes are being clarified, the OVA noted.
The city military administration reported that one of the drones hit the courtyard between high-rise buildings, as a result of which the glass in the windows of the apartments was broken, and several cars were also damaged. As a result of the attack, four people were injured.
One hit was on critical infrastructure, and the other two hits were on civilian objects.
The State Emergency Service reported that rescuers eliminated the consequences of the strikes simultaneously at three different addresses. They had to tame a fire in three apartments on the third floor of a five-story residential building.
At another address, residential buildings and cars were damaged to varying degrees as a result of the impact.
Let us recall that on the night of March 6, the enemy launched 42 Shahed-type attack drones in four directions – from Chauda and Balaklava in the occupied Crimea and the Russian Primorsko-Akhtar and Kursk regions. Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare systems shot down or landed 38 Shaheds within the Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kherson, Khmelnitsky, Cherkassy, Kharkov, Vinnitsa and Sumy regions.
