The occupiers sent a T-72B tank and a T-62MV tank to attack, and placed the infantry on MT-LB armored personnel carriers. The equipment with the landing force moved along the tanks, which paved the route to the positions of the Defense Forces. The Ukrainian unit Shadow published footage of the attack repelled on March 5 on Telegram.
After the shelling of the column, the invaders lost their desire to go and began to retreat in front of them. Some armored personnel carriers collided with other vehicles while attempting to retreat. And the enemy infantry took to their heels after the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers let down Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers.
However, some occupiers tried to dig holes under the damaged armored vehicles and take positions there.
Let us remind you that this is not the first time that Russian occupiers are trying to capture Novomikhailovka. In particular, on January 30, in the area of this village, servicemen of the 72nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, using drones, destroyed a convoy of Russian equipment consisting of 11 units.
Another assault in February was repelled by paratroopers of the 79th separate air assault Tauride brigade. Using artillery and anti-tank missile systems, the defenders destroyed the column of invaders.
