Hussen R. was sentenced to seven months in prison in connection with damage to property and destruction of a building, writes Bild. In December 2023, using a spoon and a broken toilet paper holder, he made a 30x30cm hole in the wall of the prison, which had been in operation since 1951, over four months. The criminal then climbed down using tied sheets and escaped.
I just wanted to see my little daughter, I missed her so much,” Hussen R. said during the trial.
The escape ended the next day in Traunstein (Bavaria). Before he had time to see his daughter, Hussen was arrested right in front of the door of his house.
Hussen R. was in custody for desecrating 32 graves with accomplices in four cemeteries in the Traunstein area, including stealing grave crosses made of brass and copper and selling them for scrap metal. For these crimes he faces up to six and a half years in prison.
