At the same time, she complained about Cancel culture and stated that “9 out of 10 media workers” have Inter, 112 Ukraine, ZIK or Vesti as their former place of work.
But today it is better to direct efforts towards a common main goal – the fight for victory. This is what I do. That’s what my family does. And so – my support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is not abstract and impersonal, but very personalized – it’s difficult for me to be distracted when my husband is fighting,” Gordiyko wrote on Facebook.
Five employees of the communications department of the public institution “Center for Public Health” under the Ministry of Health resigned after Daria Gordiyko, former editor-in-chief of Medvedchuk’s ZIK TV channel, was appointed head of the department, the Institute of Mass Information reported on March 4.
On Thursday, February 29, our team had a meeting with the new CEO Mikhail Rosada. He began the meeting with statements about our alleged lack of professionalism, the spread of “intrigues and rumors,” and also said that “we all lived and worked under Yanukovych and nothing happened.” Then he started accusing us of also having a dubious background,” said one of the released communications workers, Antonina Dolomandzhi.
Further, according to the communications officer, Deputy General Director Olga Gvozdetskaya, who was also at this meeting, said that “CSO is an apolitical organization.” Rosada supported her and said that a person’s past is not important to him, the main thing is professionalism.
After that we left in shock. And a few hours later they wrote a letter of resignation. A total of five communications workers quit, Dolomanji added.
The ex-chief communications specialist of the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Oksana Kucheryava, in a commentary to the IMI, noted the inadmissibility of such appointments:
The Center’s communications department is leaving almost its entire staff due to disagreement with the appointment of a person who has put a lot of effort into disseminating Russian propaganda and openly promoting Kremlin narratives and agents while working as one of the top managers of the ZIK channel. The Communications Department team considers it unacceptable to appoint people who worked for the enemy during the Great War.
The state institution “Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” (PHC) is a sanitary and preventive health care institution. The CSC performs the functions of the main institution of the Ministry of Health in the field of public health and combating dangerous, especially dangerous, infectious and non-infectious diseases.
