A Magura V5 naval drone attacked a Russian ship, it received damage to the stern, starboard and port sides.
The Russian ship Sergei Kotov was attacked by sea drones on the night of March 5 Magura V5. The ship received three damages. Its cost is 65 million dollars. GUR reports this on its Telegram channel.
“On the night of March 4-5, 2024, the special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Group 13 attacked Russian Black Sea Fleet patrol ship Sergei Kotov,” the report said.
The mission took place in cooperation with the Naval Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
As a result of this strike, the Russian ship received damage to the stern, starboard and port sides.
“The defeat of the Kotov fire took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine, not far from the Kerch Strait. The value of the sunken ship is approximately 65 million dollars,” the Main Intelligence Directorate summarized.
