Polish protesters only allow single vehicles at the border checkpoint.
The City Police Commandant’s Office in the city of Holm (Poland) announced a multi-kilometer queue of trucks in Doroguska due to the protests of Polish farmers. Polish Radio reported it.
“The length of the queue is about 17 kilometers from the village of Serebrishche. There are about 650 vehicles on standby. The waiting time for customs inspection is about 371 hours,” said police representative Angelika Glomb-Kunysh.
According to him, the protesters did not allow trucks to cross the border, but vehicles with humanitarian and military aid, as well as medicines and animals, passed through the Doroguska checkpoint “without interference.”
As is known, Polish farmers’ protests continue in front of other border crossings in Lublin Voivodeship. So, in Grebenna, the waiting time for trucks on the line is 80 hours. On the morning of March 4, 450 trucks stood in a 15-kilometer queue to the village of Belzec.
Earlier it was reported that Poland is unofficially negotiating with the EU on concessions for farmers.
We remind you that Polish farmers have been blocking the Ukrainian border for several weeks. They do not allow trucks to pass through the checkpoint, and also destroy Ukrainian agricultural products.
