The average daily losses of the Russian army in February are the largest since the beginning of a full-scale war.

    .

In February 2024, the average daily number of Russian military losses increased. The total losses of the invading army since the beginning of the invasion are about 355 thousand military killed and wounded. The British Ministry of Defense announced this on March 3 on the social network X.

February 2024 was the highest figure since the beginning of the war – 983 per day, the summary says.

The British note that the increase in average daily losses almost certainly reflects the aggressor country’s commitment to a massive and debilitating war. And although the command does not spare its soldiers, this effect increases pressure on the positions of the Ukrainian defense forces along the entire front line.

Let us recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 3 that the total combat losses of the Russians since the beginning of the full-scale invasion amounted to about 416 thousand 800 soldiers, officers and mercenaries. In particular, on March 2, 1,160 occupiers were liquidated. Also on February 24, 2022, the enemy lost 6 thousand 640 tanks, 347 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 25 ships and boats and one submarine.
