Russia deliberately kills babies in their sleep – Lithuanian Foreign Ministry

There should be severe and immediate consequences for killing civilians, particularly children, rather than impunity, Landsbergis said.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis called the Russian UAV attack on a high-rise building in Odessa “an absolutely terrible massacre of Ukrainians.” He wrote this on Sunday, March 3, on the X social network.

“This is an absolutely horrible murder. By deliberately killing babies in their sleep, Russia declares a clear disregard for any peace agreements, past or future. There must be serious and immediate consequences, not impunity,” the Lithuanian minister emphasized.

As reported, on Sunday rescuers completed search operations in Odessa, where 12 people, including five children, were killed as a result of a Russian strike. At night, rescuers released the body of the last child – a girl born in 2016. Before this, the body of her 10-year-old brother was released. The youngest victim of this terrorist attack, little Timofey, was only 4 months old. We remind you that on the night of March 2, a Russian kamikaze drone destroyed the entire entrance of a high-rise building in Odessa.
