There are videos circulating on social networks where unknown people attack residents of Ivano-Frankivsk, including the elderly. This was reported by the police of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
“In the video, the offenders inflicted bodily harm on random passers-by and also used gas canisters,” the police press service wrote.
According to the law enforcement officers, no one asked them for help. Carpathian police initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – hooliganism.
Law enforcement officials are checking information posted online about beatings of ordinary people. The identities of the victims and attackers are known.
“The Carpathian police also appeals to concerned residents, if you know information about these and similar offenses or about people committing illegal actions, please report to the special line that “102”. Anonymity guaranteed,” the police added.
We remind you that a man and a pregnant woman were found dead in Ivano-Frankivsk. The dead man’s mother told the police that her son and daughter-in-law were not in contact.
