On the night of March 1 to 2 in the city of Yekaterinburg, an explosion occurred at the Kalinin electrical substation, located on Shefskaya Street. An improvised explosive device went off, and the detonation itself occurred on a timer. Russian intelligence services are trying to figure out how the explosives got there. Russian Telegram channels write about this.
This substation supplied energy to three Russian defense enterprises – the M.I. Kalinin Machine-Building Plant, the Turbomotor Plant and Uralmash. The bombed object itself was located on the territory of the Kalinin plant and was surrounded by a concrete fence. Entrance there was made through a checkpoint.
Let us remind you that on March 1 in St. Petersburg, an unknown UAV could have tried to attack the thermal power plant or the Ruchyi oil depot, but the Russian air defense was activated. The UAV fell on residential buildings and damaged them.
