The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported this today, March 2.
Today I checked the quality and contents of first aid kits that had already arrived at warehouses under a contract with the German government, and I was satisfied,” noted Deputy Minister of Defense Natalya Kalmykova. — To date, there are already 50 thousand, in general, an agreement has been concluded for 500 thousand first aid kits. Each of them will be equipped with an additional tourniquet and occlusive dressing.
Currently, new contracts are being prepared for signing to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We must move away from the practice of volunteers bringing first aid kits to the front. All provision must be taken over by the state. This year we will resolve this issue,” Kalmykova emphasized.
