Ukraine’s military may shoot down two more Russian planes that attacked the front line with guided bombs. This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Nikolai Oleshchuk on Telegram on Saturday, March 2.
“There was only combat use of anti-aircraft guided missiles against two enemy Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft. We await confirmation of the desired result,” he wrote.
Oleschuk noted that the enemy continued to attack in the eastern direction with guided bombs from tactical aircraft, but it was becoming increasingly difficult for the Russians to fly.
“We need a bigger system, more weapons to clear our skies,” the commander added.
Earlier on Saturday, the partisans released a video of the downed Su-34 plane, which was destroyed the previous day.
We remind you that in the past two weeks, the Ukrainian military destroyed a record number of Russian aircraft, whose total export value exceeded $1 billion.
