The British Ministry of Defense in its summary, published X (formerly Twitter) suggested that Russia will try to return to service the previously mothballed A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft.
Russia stopped flying them a week after the loss of the second A-50 and will continue to do so until internal investigations are carried out into the failure to protect these aircraft, the agency suggested, citing British intelligence.
In all likelihood, a terrorist nation will have to find options to bridge this gap by reusing aircraft and taking greater risks to provide effective air support to enemy ground forces, the ministry added.
At the same time, the British Ministry of Defense believes that the enemy will try to return the previously mothballed A-50 to service to alleviate this problem.

According to media reports, this was done with the help of the Soviet S-200 air defense system.
