At night, enemy “Shaheds” attacked Kharkov, Odessa, and the cities of the Sumy region. One of the drones hit an Odessa high-rise building and destroyed 18 apartments. So far, two deaths are known in Odessa. Among the eight victims is a child. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced this on Telegram.

The head of state addressed the allies and called for the provision of even more air defense systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The Ukrainian air shield should be strengthened to add protection to our people from Russian terror. More air defense systems, more air defense missiles are what save lives,” the president noted.

Let us remind you that on the night of March 2, the enemy attacked Odessa with eight attack drones of the “Shahed” type from the Black Sea. Air defense units destroyed seven drones, but one drone hit a nine-story building during maneuvers among residential areas. Civilians died.
