The specialized Russian publication OVD-Info wrote about this on March 1.
The largest number of detainees were in Novosibirsk (31 people), Yekaterinburg (19) and Moscow (14).
Among those detained were local deputies, participants in single pickets, those who came to say goodbye to the oppositionist killed in the colony/planned to attend the farewell, as well as those who visited spontaneous memorials.
In Voronezh, Pavel Sychev, the coordinator of the headquarters of Russian President Boris Nadezhdin, who was not admitted to the elections, was detained on his way to the funeral.
Security forces justify the detention as “disobedience to the police” and “violation of the Covid regime.”
