The command of the aggressor country considers this settlement key for continuing the offensive against Konstantinovka and the Kramatorsk-Slavic agglomeration. A representative of the operational-strategic group of troops “Khortitsa”, Ilya Yevlash, announced this on March 1 on Radio Liberty.
According to him, access to the Temporary Yar will open the way for the enemy to continue their offensive actions, a springboard for an attack on Konstantinovka.
The speaker emphasized that several defense circles had been erected around Temporary Yar. The city is protected by minefields, both anti-tank and anti-personnel. The fortifications are protected by embankments and anti-tank ramparts to prevent the advance of the Russian army’s heavy equipment.
Let us remind you that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the enemy had become more active along the entire front line and launched an attack in a new sector – in the Orekhovsky direction. Defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the Robotiny region, Zaporozhye region. The hottest part of the front remains the Donetsk region, namely the Novopavlovsk and Avdeevsk directions.
