President Vladimir Zelensky appointed General Vladimir Karpenko as the new commander of the Logistics Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

His predecessor Oleg Gulyak was dismissed from office by another presidential decree.
Earlier, on February 11, significant personnel changes occurred in the Armed Forces of Ukraine – generals were dismissed from their positions.
The following were appointed as new deputy chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
- Deputy Commander of the OK “West” Army of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Vladimir Gorbatyuk;
- Deputy commander of the OK “South” forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Mikhail Drapaty;
- Head of the Zhytomyr Military Institute named after S.P. Korolev Alexey Shevchenko.
The following were appointed as new deputy commanders-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
- Head of the Main Directorate of Communications and Cybersecurity of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andrey Lebedenko;
- Commander of the OK “North” troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky.
- Instead of Major General Vladimir Mironyuk, his deputy, Colonel Roman Guba, was appointed chief of staff of the Reserve Corps of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The commander of the 30th Marine Corps of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, instead of Brigadier General Andrei Gnatov, was appointed the head of the Military Academy (Odessa), Major General Dmitry Delyatitsky.
Instead of Brigadier General Vasily Zubanich, Brigadier General Artem Bogomolov was appointed commander of the 10th Army Corps of the Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Mironyuk, Gnatov and Zubanych were transferred to the disposal of the Minister of Defense.
Also placed at the disposal of the minister:
- Former Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Shaptala;
- Deputy Chiefs of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Viktor Bokiy, Major Generals Alexander Kirilenko and Vladimir Koval;
- Deputy Commanders-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Generals Mikhail Zabrodsky and Yevgeny Moisyuk;
- Head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Artem Luchnikov;
- Chief of Staff of the Deputy Commander of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Igor Palagnyuk;
- Commanders of the OK “West” and “East” forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Sergei Litvinov and Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky.
- Head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Viktor Kucherenko.
The commander of the Medical Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Tatyana Ostashchenko, was dismissed for health reasons.
