The British Ministry of Defense emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces independently use and target Storm Shadow long-range missiles.
Ukraine independently uses and targets long-range Storm Shadow missiles in the war with Russia. Britain is not taking part in this process. This was said by a representative of the British Ministry of Defense, reports The Guardian.
“Ukraine’s use of Storm Shadow and targeting processes is a matter for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the British official emphasized.
The official recalled that London, along with other allies, is providing Ukraine with a series of weapons to help it fight Russia’s illegal and unprovoked aggression.
Let’s note that the German Chancellor opposed the supply of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine, capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 500 kilometers, because Germany allegedly “will be drawn into the war.”
According to him, his country cannot provide assistance to Ukraine in targeting targets, as the “British and French” do.
Earlier, the media reported that Germany’s ruling coalition had prepared a secret proposal to supply Ukraine with more ammunition, vehicles and weapons systems. The package may include Taurus long-range cruise missiles.
