A representative from Beijing will visit Ukraine, Russia and several European countries in March – Germany, France and Poland. He will also be a guest at the headquarters of the European Union. Li Hui’s visit will begin on March 2. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China reported this on February 28.

Li Hui, the Chinese government’s special representative for Eurasian affairs, will visit Russia, EU headquarters, Poland, Ukraine, Germany and France starting March 2 to conduct a second round of shuttle diplomacy to promote a political resolution to the Ukrainian crisis, the department noted. .

Let us recall that in May 2023, the special representative of the Chinese government already visited Kiev, European countries and Moscow to discuss Beijing’s proposals to end the war. After the trip, he stated that all the countries he visited confirmed their readiness to end the war, but admitted that currently Kyiv and Moscow have completely opposite visions of ending it and are not ready to sit down at the negotiating table.
