The President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in Albania will take part in the Ukraine-Southeast Europe summit and hold negotiations with the Prime Minister of Albania Edi Rama. The head of state announced this in a telegram.
“Today I am working in Tirana. I will meet with Ukraine’s uncompromising friend Edi Rama and take part in the summit,” the president said.
According to the president, they will talk with the head of the Albanian government and his team on defense and political cooperation, support for the Peace Formula and work on security agreements.
“Albania is one of the countries that joined the G7 Vilnius Declaration, for which we are very grateful,” Zelensky said.
He noted that in the “Ukraine – South-Eastern Europe” format, meeting for the second time, they will discuss a common path to the Euro-Atlantic goal.
“I will propose to support Ukraine’s efforts to ensure a just and lasting peace, the organization of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland. I will hold bilateral meetings with the participants of the summit,” added the president.
We remind you that Zelensky is making his first official visit to Albania.
Also, according to media reports, the President of Ukraine may visit Armenia.
