The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has received a new head.

On Tuesday, February 27, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Viktor Pavluschik to the post of head of the NAPC. People’s Deputy from Golos Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this on Telegram.
The Cabinet of Ministers officially appointed Viktor Pavluschik as the new head of NAPC, the parliamentarian wrote.
In 2008, Pavluschik received a specialist diploma from the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine with a degree in Law, he is a qualified lawyer with knowledge of English. In 2014, Pavluschik received a specialist’s diploma from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Specialty “International Business”, qualification international economist.
During 2008-2015, Pavluschik worked in the SBU, and then in the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. Most recently, he led a department that detected and investigated criminal corruption offenses committed by members of the judiciary and prosecutors.
As you know, the NAPC is a central executive body with a special status. The body analyzes the situation with corruption in the country and develops an appropriate anti-corruption strategy and a state program for its implementation, and also coordinates the implementation of these documents. The Agency also identifies corruption norms in legislation.
Let us remind you that on February 25, out of 64 candidates, Viktor Pavluschik was elected head of the NAPC. His candidacy was unanimously supported – six votes in favor.
