The enemy target was eliminated in the Eastern direction on Tuesday, February 27. The commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nikolai Oleshchuk reported this on Telegram.
He noted that on February 26, Russian pilots managed to dodge Ukrainian missiles, but stressed that “this will not always be the case.”
Therefore, I advise infidels to see their relatives before each flight, just in case. Because who knows whether he will be lucky or not this time,” the commander wrote.
As you know, the Su-34 is a multifunctional fighter-bomber designed to carry out missile and bomb strikes against ground targets. This tactical aircraft is capable of attacking targets at a distance of 150-600 km from impact. This air vehicle is quite expensive – the cost of a combat unit is 50 million dollars.
Let us remind you that the Russian army has already lost eight combat aircraft over the past two weeks. The enemy lost two Su-34 fighter-bombers and one Su-35 fighter on February 17. Another Su-34 was shot down on February 18, and on February 19 a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35S fighter were grounded. And on February 21, another Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed. All these Russian air targets were destroyed in the Eastern direction.
