Gabriel Attal emphasized that it is not in the interest of Paris for authoritarian Russia to win the war against democratic Ukraine.
French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has not ruled out the possibility of sending military personnel to Ukraine. This was reported by Ouest-France.
“We cannot ignore the fact that Russia can win this war. We cannot ignore the fact that an authoritarian country can impose its control on a democratic country. After all, we are coming after Ukraine ,” the French official emphasized.
He also recalled that Sweden and Finland are joining NATO because they see the Russian threat.
“We have supported Ukraine since day one. And we will continue to support Ukrainians,” concluded Attal.
Let’s remember that French President Emmanuel Macron announced a “coalition” to provide Ukraine with “medium- and long-range missiles and bombs.”
Earlier, the Ukrainian and French sides signed an agreement on security guarantees. It is valid for 10 years.
