Russia does not intend to stop and its aggression may go beyond Ukraine, the head of the diplomatic department warned.
Russia’s all-out war against Ukraine and the Kremlin’s threat to Europe have ended an era of peace and neutrality on the continent. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stated this in an interview with The Irish Times.
Answering the question about the possibility of neutrality of individual subjects in the current conditions, Kuleba mentioned that each state should determine the best ways to develop its own security. At the same time, he stressed that the “sad reality” requires political solutions.
“I believe that the era of neutrality is over, as well as the era of peace in Europe. This sad reality is the result of a new revanchist and imperial force in the east of our continent, that is, the Putin dictatorship,” said the minister.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Russia will not stop. Therefore, providing the Ukrainian military with all the necessary weapons is “the best way to ensure the long-term security of Europe today.”
Kuleba called for intensifying arms production in Europe, removing bureaucratic obstacles and directing all orders on the continent to the needs of European states and, above all, Ukraine.
“Every artillery shell produced in Europe must serve the purpose of defending Europe,” added the head of diplomacy.
Let’s remember that, according to Umerov, Ukraine has a plan for 2024, which has not been disclosed to the public. At the same time, it is powerful and will bring results to the fore.
President Vladimir Zelensky said that all EU countries already understand the need to increase the production of weapons. The combined capacity of Ukraine and the EU will exceed Russia’s arms production.
