President Vladimir Zelensky today, February 26, took part in a special summit to support Ukraine in Paris – a summit of leaders of the European Union and the United States, which was convened by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Zelensky announced this in his evening video message.
The main topic is everything that strengthens us in Europe, our stability, capabilities: of course, our arsenals, our ability to produce weapons, supply of weapons for Ukraine and continuity of support,” Zelensky noted.
The press service of the Presidential Office notes that Zelensky in a video message to the summit participants:
- spoke about the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in particular, to strengthen air defense;
- noted the need for joint production of weapons and ammunition, interaction in cyberspace, steps to confiscate Russian assets and increase sanctions pressure on it;
- invited summit participants to join the global “peace summit” in Switzerland.
Zelensky noted that just from the beginning of this year until February 24, Russian planes dropped 3,203 guided bombs on Ukrainian cities and villages and on Ukrainian front-line positions. Therefore, according to him, this year it is necessary to work together to ensure that Russia loses its advantages, just as it has already lost its advantages on land and at sea.
We must prove that we can deprive Russia of its advantage in the sky, in financing aggression, and in the political plane. This is the task of the year,” Zelensky emphasized.
