If former US President Donald Trump decides to support Russia over Ukraine in this war, it means he has gone against the American people. President Vladimir Zelensky stated this in an interview with CNN.
According to the Ukrainian head of state, it is impossible to believe that Trump can be on the side of the Russian president. Zelensky is confident that the former American president does not understand what goals Putin is pursuing.
“I don’t think Trump knows Putin. I know he knows him, but he never fought with Putin. The American army never fought with the Russian army. Never… I understand better. I think “I don’t understand that Putin. will never stop,” said the Ukrainian president.
Let’s remember that Trump previously promised to end the war in Ukraine “very quickly.” Zelensky said he was ready to listen to Trump’s specific “peace plan” and invited him to Ukraine.
