The President thanked Bulgaria for supporting our efforts in the Black Sea and Danube region to expand trade flows and restore normal shipping.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov. Zelensky announced this on social networks on Monday, February 26.

“Today we held, as always, productive and very specific negotiations with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov. Thanks to Bulgaria for supporting our efforts in the Black Sea and Danube region to expand trade flows and restore normal shipping. It is very important that We are Possible, even in difficult times, despite all the difficulties, to ensure normal economic relations, “said Zelensky.

The President also mentioned the importance of Bulgaria’s support for Ukraine’s movement in the European and Euro-Atlantic community.

“And another important point of our attention is the Peace Formula, its full and fair implementation. This year we are preparing the first summit – the Global Peace Summit, and I will be grateful for Bulgaria’s active role in this summit and the Prime Minister’s level support for our proposals”, added Zelensky.

Let’s recall that the leaders of the Group of Seven countries assured Kyiv of additional support. It was previously reported that the UK will spend 245 million pounds ($310 million) throughout the year to purchase and activate supply chains for the production of artillery ammunition for Ukraine.
