CEO of Warner Bros. gives clues about the film’s production phase

After choosing the protagonist, “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” finally received updates; find out which ones!

This year, the actress Milly Alcock was chosen to play Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) in the new DC film “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow”. The news was announced by james gunncurrent CEO of DC Studios, through his official Instagram account.

However, there was no further concrete information about the film. But, to the delight of the fans, David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery revealed some news about the Supergirl film, which still has no official release date.

Following a conference call that revealed fourth-quarter 2023 results for Warner Bros. Discovery, Zaslav spoke (via Comic Book Movie) about “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow”. The company’s CEO stated that the film’s script has already been finalized and that casting is underway.

And like I said, we really target DC. We have Superman [e] Supergirl – a great script has been written and is being cast,” he revealed Zaslav.

Meet Milly Alcock, the new Supergirl

Amelia May Alcockpopularly known as Milly Alcock is an Australian actress. She was born on April 11, 2000 in Sydney, Australia. She became known worldwide after playing Rhaenyra Targaryen in “House of the Dragon”, a series derived from “Game Of Thrones”.

Now, the actress has landed her first starring role, as Supergirl in “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow.” The character is expected to appear in “Superman: Legacy”, which has a release date scheduled for July 10, 2025.
