The edits are still being compiled, said People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
A lot of them arrived. How many? We’ll see when the final table is out,” he wrote on his social networks.
Preliminarily, on Tuesday, February 27, the work of the Defense Committee will begin to prepare the bill for the second reading and, accordingly, the consideration of amendments.
If everything goes well, then from March 6 the bill will begin to be considered in the Rada. Since there are a lot of edits, this process in the hall may drag on for a couple of days,” Zheleznyak wrote.
President Vladimir Zelensky said about the mobilization bill at a press conference on February 25:
3 thousand amendments. Let the deputies work and then answer the country what will happen next. In the future, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada bear responsibility for mobilization. We need to wait for the audit that Syrsky is conducting to say how many more people we need to mobilize. Mobilization in Ukraine is ongoing.
