On the night of February 25, air defense forces destroyed 16 of the 18 Russian suicide bombers that attacked Ukraine. This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

It was noted that enemy UAVs flew from Primorsko-Akhtarsk to the Russian Federation and Cape Chauda – Crimea.

Defense Forces mobile fire groups, anti-aircraft missile units and Air Force aviation destroyed 16 suicide bombers within the Poltava, Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions.

We remind you that on February 23, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down the second Russian A-50 aircraft. According to media reports, this was done with the help of the Soviet S-200 air defense system.
