On February 23, defense forces destroyed a Russian A-50 aircraft with the call sign “Bayan”. This was announced by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Nikolai Oleshchuk.
“People, where are you?” A-50 has arrived with the call sign “Bayan!” said the message.
Oleschuk also congratulated the invaders “Happy Defender of the Fatherland Day.”
He thanked the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and all those who ensured the result.
Let’s recall that earlier Russian social networks announced that the Ukrainian military shot down an A-50 aircraft in the Sea of Azov.
It was previously reported that on February 21, Ukrainian defenders destroyed another Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber.
