The EU sanctions package against Russia now includes 10 foreign companies, specifically four from China: RG Solutions Limited, based in Hong Kong, as well as three companies from mainland China – Guangzhou Ausay Technology Co Limited, Shenzhen Biguang Trading Co. Ltd and Yilufa Electronics Ltd.
The lists also include TOO Elem Group from Kazakhstan, Thai IT Hardware Co., Ltd from Thailand and Yildiz Cip Teknoloji Elektronik Elektrik Bilgisayar Malzemeleri Ticaret Sanayi Limited Sirketi from Turkey.
In addition, restrictions in the field of import-export controls now apply to Conex Doo Beograd-Stari Grad from Serbia, Euro Asia Cargo (Private) Ltd. from Sri Lanka and Si2 Microsystems Pvt Ltd from India.
The EU believes these companies support the Russian military-industrial complex and are involved in circumventing trade restrictions. These structures indirectly support the Russian defense industry by trading electronic equipment elements needed by the armed forces and military industry.
Earlier on Friday it became known that the European Union adopted the 13th package of sanctions against Russia. The restrictions apply to 106 individuals and 88 legal entities responsible for actions that undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
The day before it became known that Great Britain had introduced new sanctions against the Russian Federation. They are aimed at key sources of income for the Kremlin with the aim of limiting trade in metals, diamonds and energy resources, and are also directed against those supplying ammunition.
