This was stated by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky during a meeting with media representatives after negotiations with Danish Prime Minister Matte Frederiksen in Lviv.
According to the president, “Ukrainian grain does not go to the Polish market, but only in transit.”
Whether there will be a Polish side at the border is unknown. Ukrainian grain, which Polish protesters are blocking at the border today, does not go to the Polish market, and our state will work to resolve the issue of its transit, the president said.
Let us recall that earlier President Zelensky invited Polish President Andrzej Dudi and Prime Minister Donald Tusk to meet at the border and resolve the crisis. Duda agreed, and Tusk offered to hold negotiations in Warsaw. The Polish head of government promised to declare all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine as critical infrastructure facilities.
