During the meeting with the ambassadors, three main issues were discussed: protection from Russian terror, a peace formula and cooperation on sanctions against the Russian Federation.
President Vladimir Zelensky said that on February 22 he held a meeting with diplomats, representatives of states and international organizations. Further cooperation and assistance to Ukraine was discussed.
“The 24th year is special, because this year we must do as much as possible in terms of our ability to end this war in accordance with the basic principles of international law. Accordingly, for this year we have some very specific tasks,” said the leader.
During the meeting with the ambassadors, three main issues were discussed.
The first is to protect the people of Ukraine from fear of Russia. Zelensky thanked the partners who provide defense, macro-financial and humanitarian support to Ukraine.
Second, the president recalled the Peace Formula, which has the ability to restore the full force of international law violated by Russia. According to him, he can bring true, honest and understandable peace to every person. The issue of returning home, to Ukraine, people – children and adults deported to Russia, prisoners of Ukraine and political prisoners in Ukraine, was discussed.
The third issue is the joint cooperation of the world to ensure that Russia cannot avoid sanctions.
“This year must add more strength and more principled steps to Ukraine, each of our states and our cooperation. Ukraine invites all important states and companies to defense cooperation. We must work together to ensure that Russia cannot avoid world sanctions. And another aspect “These are Russian assets. The sooner they are confiscated, the sooner Putin will feel the true cost of aggression against international law,” Zelensky said.
We remind you that the United States will support the Peace Formula of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.
