As BILD was told by the British investigation group Conflict Armament Research (CAR), despite international sanctions, Pyongyang actively uses Western components in the production of Hwasong missiles. A total of 290 Western parts were discovered, mostly computer chips.
75% of them are produced in the USA, 11.9% in Germany. CAR does not want to indicate specific manufacturers, since it is not they who are to blame for shadow exports, but intermediary countries.
We do not want to publicly name these companies,” Damien Spleeters, head of CAR in Ukraine, told BILD. “We want to run tracking to determine how these products were diverted.”
The SBU confirmed that Russia is using North Korean ballistics against the Ukrainians – Hwasong-11 (KN 23/24) missiles produced on the territory of the DPRK.
According to the investigation, Russian troops fired more than 20 North Korean weapons into Ukraine. The enemy strikes killed at least 24 people and seriously injured more than 100 civilians.
Let us also recall that parts from the United States and European countries were found in the North Korean missiles with which Russia attacked Ukraine.
