Vladimir Putin has not changed his opinion and still considers Joe Biden the best option for Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that American leader Joe Biden insulted him for his words about the future US president being “best for Russia.” He said this in comments to Russian journalists on Thursday, February 22.
“You and I talked recently, and you asked me who would be the best president of the United States for us. I said that we would work with any president, but I believe that for us, for Russia, Biden is better. About that, what he said, I was absolutely right, because it was an adequate reaction to what was said on my part,” said Putin.
In his opinion, Biden could not tell him: “Volodya, good, thank you, you helped me.”
“We understand what is happening there from an internal political point of view, and this reaction is completely adequate, which means I am right,” said the Russian President.
He did not give any other assessments of Biden’s words, but only added that he has not changed his opinion and still considers Biden the best choice for the Russian Federation.
Let’s remember that the day before Biden called Putin a “crazy son of a bitch” and recalled that the United States should always worry about a possible nuclear conflict.
In response, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the American leader’s remarks “boorish” and a “huge shame” for the United States.
