Governor Eduardo Leite said he has plans to have children with Thalis Bolzan
Eduardo Leite spoke about his private life and commented on the decision to formalize his stable union with Thalis Bolzan.
Three years after starting their relationship, the governor of Rio Grande do Sul and his partner took a further step and made their marriage official.
Contrary to what rumors said, the couple opted for a simple union so that, in the future, they can have a party.
“We’ve been together for three years, happily, and we decided to sign a declaration that protects us from a property point of view. It wasn’t anything very planned nor was there a party, as some people even said, when they saw photos of us in Trancoso, Bahia. But Yes, we intend to celebrate later.”, he said in an interview with Veja.
Eduardo continued: “When we started dating, I immediately told Thalis that I wanted to bring our story to light. At that time, his father still didn’t know he was gay, so I asked him to deal with the matter at home and then I would tell people. For me, it was essential. I didn’t want to live this story half-heartedly, in silence, as I had done until then, in other relationships.”
The politician also spoke about the couple’s plans to expand their family. Eduardo said they intend to adopt children.
“We want to, but not now. This requires an availability that both he and I don’t have at the moment”he said.
