The ex-official is accused of forging documents to evade mobilization. Local media wrote that we are talking about Igor Kodovbetsky.
According to the investigation, he, together with several current officials of the regional VLK and medical institutions, issued false certificates to those liable for military service. This allowed the latter to hide from mobilization and escape from Ukraine. Almost 1 million dollars and 22 thousand euros were found in cash from the exchelnik. Now he faces ten years in prison with confiscation.
For money, the former head of the local military medical commission promised those liable for military service to be removed from the military register on the basis of fictitious certificates of unfitness for service for health reasons.
In addition, documentation for several apartments and land plots, which the SBU had already initiated seizure, was also confiscated from the ex-official.
