The decision to revise the EU’s long-term budget, which includes the Ukraine Facility, was approved.
The relevant committees of the European Parliament supported the decision to create a multi-year financial assistance program for Ukraine worth 50 billion euros. About that reported Deputy Viola von Cramon.
“We have just approved the Ukraine Facility, financial assistance in the amount of 50 billion euros for the next years. In next week’s plenary in Strasbourg, the parliament will once again show solidarity with Ukraine,” he said.
As noted on the website of the European Parliament, the Budget Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee and the Industry, Research and Energy Committee approved a decision to revise the EU’s long-term budget, which includes the Ukraine Facility.
Let’s remember that EU countries have agreed to the European Commission’s proposal to support Ukraine with loans and grants worth 50 billion euros over the next four years.
