The head of the faction, David Arakhamia, announced this today, February 21, in the evening in his Telegram channel.
We understand that it attracted a lot of media attention, since this is the first meeting in a large format since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. But I want to refute all conspiracy theories. It was planned at the end of last year, but the President’s schedule allowed it to be held only now,” Arakhamia emphasized.
According to him, the purpose of the meeting was to synchronize efforts and strengthen individual areas of work.
This is nothing new; we held such strategic sessions every year even before the full-scale invasion. This is normal practice for all major teams,” Arakhamia assured.
We talked about the most important things for our Victory – the front, the economy, the help of partners, the preservation of unity in society. And, accordingly, about the tasks for parliament and deputies in these areas, Arakhamia added. – A lot of work. But from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, Parliament showed its ability to cope with the most difficult tasks. We will keep this pace towards Victory.
At the same time, according to people’s deputy from Eurosolidarity Alexey Goncharenko, only 60% of the Servant of the People faction was present at the meeting with Zelensky.
